In order to provide patients with the best possible care, our office is “out of network” with dental insurance companies. This means we are not under contract with any insurance companies. In contrast, dentists who are participating providers have a contract with the insurance company. In exchange for the insurance company’s recommendation and requirements, dentists allow the insurance company to play a role in deciding what treatment is appropriate for you, the patient.
How will this affect your dental care?
We discuss your treatment options with you and make sure you receive the treatment you need based on sound clinical judgment and years of clinical experience and success.
How does payment work?
We request payment at the time of service. Our office electronically files the claim and all supporting documentation with your insurance company on the day of service. This will help you receive your maximum allowed dental benefit as soon as possible. The insurance company will send the reimbursement check directly to you.
Additionally, we can submit preauthorizations for services to your insurance company so that you know what the fees will be before we begin any work. Our monetary policies are designed to maximize your insurance reimbursement.
We accept all major credit cards, check and cash for payment.
